i accidentally downloaded something and i cant remember what it was but avast found it as a trojan. it couldnt delete it and i even tried ending it in taskmanager but i didnt see it in there. i told it to delete at startup next time but it just came up with this message again.
i finally got delete to work but now it keeps trying to add AFA0B742-924C-4017-BB4B-6803A32D89B7 TO CATEGORY BROWSER HELPER OBJECT but i got sypbot tea timer denying it every second.
it copied itself to a bunch of temp folders and i dont know where else. should i post a log?

EDIT: it stored itself in temp folders. i went into safe mode and ran ccleaner to delete my temp files and i think im set now. still gonna post a log just in case.

Use HijackThis to prevent it from start at bootup.
Use avast! and then do a full system scan and quarantine or delete any trojans or other crap you have or it might have installed.

Besure to have the latest virus definitions in avast!

I looked at the log you posted and it looked fine.
This is what drives me crazy about avast. I want to like it but I just can't.
