When I reboot my computer and reach the windows xp Welcome Screen there is a huge delay, of about 40-50 seconds before it logs in, compared to before, when it only took a few seconds.
I regularly do adware, virus, defrag and registry scan and have 15 processes running at startup. I also tried repairing windows xp.
I'm not sure if I made any changes to any settings and I do not have any system restore points to restore to.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Startup Delay

Thanks for the reply hazelnut,
The link you gave me helped fixed my problem. It was something to do with getting an IP address. Now my windows loads much faster.
Thanks Again
