Hello there! You seem to give much help for many people out here, so if you can take a look on my log file, I would appreciate it as there may be something wrong (many errors in small time, etc). Some entries seem to be in finnish, my own language, so feel free to ask if you don't understand something :)

Hi SpySnake, Welcome,

Thats a clean log :)

You have IE restrictions in place but there is no indication they have been added by malware:

O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present
O6 - HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present

These can be used by some malware to prevent you from changing settings like your homepage. It can also be set by you (using programs like Spybot S&D) to prevent malware changing your settings, or System Administrators to prevent their users changing settings. If you are sure that you or a system administrator didn't impose those restrictions then they can be fixed using HijackThis by placing a check next to them, close all open Browser windows and click Fix Checked. If in doubt then they can be left on the system as there is no signs of infection.

To be sure your system is clean download Ewido Anti-Malware from HERE
  • When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard"
  • From the main ewido screen, click on update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
  • After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful"),
  • Click on the Scanner button in the left menu, then click Complete System Scan.
If ewido finds anything, it will pop up a notification. You can select Remove and check the boxes Perform action with all infections and Create encrypted backup before clicking on OK.
When the scan finishes, click on Save Report. This will create a text file that you can save to the desktop and post back

Please post the Ewido scan if it detects any issues

Thanks

Andy

Thanks for your time :) And about IE restrictions... Ar far as I know, they come bundled with my F-Secure Internet Security 2006. But yeah... Thanks a lot, at least it's not spyware which creates these errors ;)

Thanks for the confirmation that they are valid, its one thats worth mentioning as its also used by malware but in most cases they are genuine. Run a scan with Ewido if you have the time just to make sure there is nothing hiding and let me know if I can help more in anyway.

Cheers

Andy
