Well, when I was using windows media player 11 and IE 7, I downloaded and sinstalled cclaner (a new version). The scan for issues crashed for a while twice and took very long to scan. (about 2-3 mins)

Bug, or just my PC?

Internet Explorer 7 is beta software. Furthermore IE sucks. You should use Firefox.
Windows Media Player 11 must be one of the suckiest software too ever since BonziBuddy, maybe you havent heard of VLC ?

Please do not patronise me, I have not come here to address other software I use, but a possible bug in ccleaner. I am fully aware they are beta programmes, but it still takes longer for me to scan without them running.

Sorry about Eldmannen, he's a huge tool.

CCleaner has a seemingly endless list of bugs...

Ya, I've got this issue too but mine is slightly different. I know how to use CCleaner so don't think I'm a noob and if you say I need to use FF or BonziBuddy I swear I will go medieval on ur *** :D
I have an issue with CCleaner crashing too but mine will actually sit there not responding for about 10 minutes and then suddenly crash. It only does this when scanning the registry. I use Windows XP Home with SP2 and believe me, it's about as up-to-date as it can get :D
This is the first version of CCleaner that I've gotten this problem with. The previous versions I had never had this problem, although they were slow at scanning and cleaning, but that's typical...
