I have family, friends and others that I occasionally do cleanups for and they don't want to install or don't have room for more programs.

Is there a way to run CCleaner from a cdrom disc, as I would like to make a utility disc just for this purpose?

Thank you for any help!

By the way, CCleaner Number 1 on my list for cleanup programs!!!

Hello, and welcome to the CC Forum!

This is a feature that has been requested a number of times, but unfortunately currently CCleaner does not work that way. The main reason being that all configuration information are stored in the registry.

So for now you will have to carry the installer. But the installed entities are just 1440K, so that's really not a big deal.

OK, the cd won't work but I should be able to run it off a USB flash drive?
Thank you for your help!

Nope, not off a flash drive either. But there is a Slim version, only 1.28 MB installed. You'll find it at the bottom of this page: http://www.ccleaner....nloadbuilds.asp

I have no idea if this works personally, but read this topic here, the flash drive bit is near the end.
