I used CCleaner to uninstall Norton Internet Security. Will it have deleted my Quarantined items, or do I need to worry that they're now "loose" on the system?

Hello, and welcome to the CC Forum!

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. Symantec/Norton products are notorious for uninstalling only partially; CCleaner will not make any difference here. You should search your system if you have any quarantined items from NIS still hanging around.

No idea. As stated above, Norton uninstalled are bad, they usually dont work or leave things behind.

Look in C:\Program Files\ if you find any Norton/symantec entries...

Also try using the relevant Symantec removal program for whatever version of NIS you have uninstalled - find the list of removal tools HERE
