Hey guys, Just got the news off of Avast Forums and would like to share it. I downloaded it and messed around with it. I did not like it all that much. They switched around some stuff that I didn't like. They took away the "By Artist drop-down content box" and now you have to go back and forth to the media Library which will upset most WMP Fans. I'm using Winamp for now though till they at least and hopefully will look in to what they've done wrong. Also they took away most of the Skins and all on the Beta.

i was dissapointed when i tried it out. its tagging support sucks, the skin was crap too(the quit button looked really weird), and it also used up a lot of memory. i'll stick with my foobie.

Windows Media Player sucks. 6.4 was good, I liked that one. Every version after that just sucked and got worse and worse for every new version.

I prefer VLC (VideoLAN Codec) and MPC (Media Player Classic).

VLC plays freaking everything. :D

WMP is pretty bad for a beta. I personally use WinAmp, sometimes VLC media player.

I've never liked it, in fact I've always hated it along with the DRM-able wma format!

I'm quickly loosing what little miniscule faith I have in MS, and it seems like they can't even test their own s**tware nowadays with all these beta products they've released in unsupported form for testing unto their consumers. If they want all this stuff tested for free they can start giving Windows away for free (wishful thinking). It's gonna probably be buggy anyways, and no matter what they do it will definately have exploitable security issues so what the hell give it away earily.
Complexity of incoherent design.

I agree. I hate DRM-able WMA format too!
And DRM-able WMV format!
