I previously reported on this forum that the upcoming Firefox 2 was going to include the Places system, which stores bookmarks and history in a combined sqlite database. Well, it's now been decided that Places isn't going to be ready soon enough. Places development will continue on the Trunk nightly builds, toward release in a future version (maybe Firefox 3?). Anyway, Mr.G will have a lot more time to work on supporting it.
