I've got a file that ends with the extension .torrent

How do I open this file? All I am getting is a list of programs that I can associate with this file, but none of them seems to work.

you need to download a seperate program and that views different things and its just an installation so if you need it you could download the program here. it got to confusing for me so i just went back to the site and downloaded the regular version. what is it that your trying to open?

It's a file from www.uknova.com

All the files there seem to be .torrent files.

.torrent files are used by BitTorrent clients.
There are many different BitTorrents clients available that you can choose.
The official is at the bittorrent website;
* http://www.bittorrent.com/download.myt

Personally, I use ABC;
* http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/

µTorrent is also a nice client. doesn't even use up a lot of memory(only uses around 5K). not sure about ABC though.

I personally use uTorrent; http://www.utorrent.com - no installation, already there when downloaded, just an exe file, perfect in my opinion.
