Hi

Although I uninstalled a trial version of this software a while age, and despite using several registry cleaners including CCleaner, it still shows up in my list of Windows XP services. It has been set as "disabled" but I would like to remove it from the list altogether.

Does anyone know how without manually editing the Registry?

Mucking around with the reg can cause probs so make a backup first.

You could use Regseeker which I use mainly for it's reg search function. It finds all entries at once instead of one at a time.

I know you don't want to edit manually but I'll post anyways.

Go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services

and find the service there and delete it.

You will have to reboot before the list gets updated in server manager.

I think that installing trial versions of software is a bad idea...

Thanks, Humpty

I followed your regedit instructions and it worked fine.
