I honestly don't think Opera loads that fast and I don't exactly have a slow computer; XP Pro SP2, 3.20 Ghz P4 w/HT, 1GB Ram. I think Opera's slow startup is due to them using ASProtect and it's even worse on my old Win98 system.

Edit: In case anyone is wondering I'm talking about the Cold Start load time.

Complexity of incoherent design.
