What option would I have to deselect so that when I run CCleaner it dosen't remove my cd/rom registry. I had to do a system restore to before I ran the cleaner to get my cd drive back. I'm not super computer savy, and I liked using the cleaner - but I need to have my cd rom working.

Thanks for any advise.

Did you let Ccleaner take a backup of the cleaned registry entries? If so, can you post that backup here, so we can have a look at it? (I do not quite understand what you mean by "removed CD-ROM registry").

I have done a restore so I no longer have the back up information. I have reinstalled the ccleaner and only run the cleaner part and not the issues section, and this seems to work ok. Thanks for your response.
