I've Been using Gaim for a while... got tired of it! I wanted to know how much resource does AIM uses? Can anyone tell me please? Gaim uses about 5MB

5 mb isnt all that much. Would not surprise me if AIM used up more.
AIM is from AOL, and AOL is evil.

Miranda IM handles the AOL protocol too.

Just get AIM adhack and it will make AIM better than all the others.

lmao. you realize that AIM comes included with the AOL Browser and other random bulls**t right?

That sucks!! But isn't there are options which you can select and not install with the browser and other "random bullsh.ts" with it.

hmm... gaim is alright.. i like it too but after being online for certain number of hours
gaim gets disconnected automatically =\ and im using broadband.
