i've run the cleaner, but now my home page setting is gone, i tried to fix it but it's gone

Open IE, click tools at the top, and select internet options. Type or paste the address of your homepage in the block and apply. If the address of your homepage is there, click "use current". After you have it set, find the cookie in ccleaner and save it so it will not be cleaned again.
If it isn't broke, tweak it.
