I just ran CCleaner for the first time on my system, clearing the temp files and the registry. When I restarted my computer an installer started up and it wouldn't start, saying: Norton Antivirus 2005 does not support the Repair feature, please uninstall and reinstall. What does this mean?

To resolve this issue, visit the following Symantec Web site:
http://www.symantec.com/search (http://www.symantec.com/search)
In the Search box, type 2004090712504306, and then click Message: "Norton AntiVirus 2005 does not support the repair feature." to locate the latest information from Symantec about this issue. For more information about the Norton AntiVirus or Norton SystemWorks software, see the product documentation.
Good ole googlegoop.
If it isn't broke, tweak it.

Or you could just uninstall it. You're not likely to miss Norton. ;)

And then what, be without anti-virus protection? I've been using NAV for about 3 1/2 years, sitll version 2002, with annual subsription renewals. No problems.
