Hello. I wanted to know if there are any other anti spyware programs (preferrably freeware) that I should download to heighten my security. I have the following the anti-spyware programs:
-Spybot (with teatimer)
-Adaware
-Windows Defender
-CWShredder
-Spyware Blaster
Plus, I have CCleaner but that doesn't count as antispyware.
If there are any programs that you think I would need please let me know. Thanks

I personally don't use CWS Shredder - it can lock up systems, and I seriously don't like Wwindows Defender. Ewido is the best though, so get it.

CWShrdder is only good for one infection(cool web search) and their really is no point in running it all the time. But it only takes a second and it dosent harm anything to run it so it dosent really matter.

What about program like Winpatrol, SpywareGuard and Roolkit Revealer? Are they useful at all or don't I need them?

WinPatrol is a joke. SpywareGuard just runs real-time; so having Windows Defender eliminates the need for SpywareGuard. RootkitRevealer is a great app, but only used if you get a rootkit. I believe you're already set.

Tarun, what anti-spyware programs do you use? Ewido sounds like an excellent choice so I will be downloading that from filehippo. Which program do you think is better, SpywareGuard or Windows Defender? I was thinking about getting SpywareGuard only because it says it goes along with SpywareBlaster.
Also I found this little program called Bugoff. Bugoff link. Do you think this is a program worth downloading?

My primaries are SpywareBlaster, Windows Defender, Ad-Aware, Spybot and ewido. Since I'm in tech support and I maintain the Anti-Malware packages, I also have CWShredder, About:Buster, CCleaner, HijackThis and sometimes more.

I've seen it though it warns that it can break other parts of Windows. You want to secure your system and keep functionality, not break it.
