In the APPLICATIONS tab, CuteFTP Pro is listed twice:

- CuteFTP 7.0 Pro
- CuteFTP Pro 7.0

Is one of them in winapp.ini and the other in winapp2.ini? Are they both in winapp2.ini?

The entry from winapp.ini:

[CuteFTP Pro 7.0]
LangSecRef=3022
Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\GlobalSCAPE\CuteFTP 7 Professional
Default=True
FileKey1=%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\GlobalSCAPE\CuteFTP Pro\7.0\Cache|*.*|RECURSE
FileKey2=%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\GlobalSCAPE\CuteFTP Pro\7.0\CacheThumbs|*.*|RECURSE

That is the only listing of CuteFTP in winapp.ini, so the 'CuteFTP 7.0 Pro' must be from your winapp2.ini file. Where did you get the winapp2.ini? Or did you make it yourself? I would suggest removing that entry from winapp2.ini, to speed up your scanning, and prevent any problems. You are better off using the one listed in winapp.ini, since MrG has thoroughly tested it.

the entries in winapp2.ini are from members of CCleaner... they are not tested by the developer of CCleaner and may (I said "may") contain problems... i uses winapp2.ini myself... but found nothing wrong yet...

by looking at the two different entires, the one in winapp2.ini remove something more than the one in winapp.ini. if you feel un-safe, just uncheck the one in winapp2.ini... but the entires seem fine... shouldnt be a problem to use it...
