Is there a very simple, easy, small and free program that I can use to password protect files? Basically something i can put a "lock" on with password access only. Nothing fancy, just something to keep kids out of.

Thanks all.

I use OpenOffice, and it has a password protect files/folders feature. What software are you using?

If you dont want to encrypt it and just lock it than try this:

(free version does 4 folders and it only costs $20)

If you want to encrypt the files and lock them then give this a go.
