Take great care if you get an email from Google Accounts Team saying they have prevented a suspicious sign in.

Likewise.

I'm getting emails (straight to spam folder) from just about every bank in the UK asking me to sort out a problem with my account. I wish I had enough spare cash to have an account in all these places.  :)

U aint kidding. I wish I had the time to send the TDDS trojan to every computer that sends out these spam emails, & take them down! For good!

Or that I could hunt every one of these common criminals down & sentence them to 7 years of backbreaking labor for their sorry attitudes that they don't think they can ever be caught because they live in another country, so it's ok to steal from other people & lie to them.

I would make them learn real fast! LOL

I'd only go along with that if they'd only be fed SPAM as their food during those 7 years, the irony. ;)

Have you ever been to Okinawa?  They make great food with SPAM down there, e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chanpuru B)

Spam just doesn't seem to belong in there somehow.

Like it's unwelcome and unpopular namesake, it does seem to get about.

That's nice! However, if you use your device from multiple wireless locations, they may send you a false alert. Or, if your using static vs dynamic IP...

false alerts are fine. If it's you, you just ignore it; if it isn't you then change your password.
ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION
DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)
ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
