I know quite a few members here use ERUNT so I'm just mentioning this software to get comments. Seems really easy to use.

The reason ERUNT is so good is because it can restore the registry outside of Windows via the Recovery Console (XP). Although I've never tried ERUNT yet via a BartPE CD.

Being able to use a registry restore program in Safe Mode is not good enough if Windows won't boot at all!

If anyone uses the two mentioned registry backup programs already mentioned in this topic it would be interesting to know if they also work via Recovery Console like ERUNT does. Would also like to know if they work via boot CDs like BartPE, etc.
