Moderators Andavari Posted July 21, 2012 Moderators Share Posted July 21, 2012 The reason ERUNT is so good is because it can restore the registry outside of Windows via the Recovery Console (XP). Although I've never tried ERUNT yet via a BartPE CD. Being able to use a registry restore program in Safe Mode is not good enough if Windows won't boot at all! If anyone uses the two mentioned registry backup programs already mentioned in this topic it would be interesting to know if they also work via Recovery Console like ERUNT does.
