Hello darren and welcome to the forum :)

It's a good well balanced setup especially when it works for you, and your machine, without issues.

I use Online Armor myself and have done for several years and although I don't use avast (currently running Vipre) I know it is highly thought of.

Hi Darren39.  That sounds like a good setup.

FYI, I'm using avast free, has worked very well here for a long time, doesn't interfere with normal operations.  For this computer (Win XP sp3) I have the autosandbox feature and the browser protection turned off.  Don't need them as I have Sandboxie, Spywareblaster, SpywareGuard, Outpost firewall, and Powershadow running when I am on the 'net.  None of those use much memory or CPU time, and they all offer a free version.

One thing you might think about is creating a backup image and a rescue disk, using something like Macrium Reflect Free. It's  HERE Several members here use Macrium free and know a lot about it.
There are other good free backup programs, but right now I just don't remember what the other members here use.

Backup images have saved my bacon when all else failed.
The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-)
Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud.  Its a bunch of big, giant servers.

HI Darren

If you have all what is listed in your signature, specially if you are working in a virtuall environment such as Sandboxie, you have Avast free, and Online Armor, IMHO all the rest is an overkill and unnecessary burden to system even if minimal now, it adds up with time...

Hi .
Thank you very much for your replies.
I also do use macrium reflect to back up to my external hard drive.
I use malwarebytes and superantispyware as on demand scanners which i use periodically.
Thank you for the input on this..I hear so many contrasting reports on different security products and their effectiveness.
Ive not experienced any form of slow downs what so ever.

Thanks again. :)

From what you have listed in your signature that's more than enough to protect your system and keep it clean.

Here's what I use for now (albeit I change antivirus' every now and then):
* Panda Cloud Antivirus Free
* ClamWin Portable
* Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
* Trend Micro RootkitBuster
* Windows Firewall
* MVPS.org HOSTS File
