VideoLAN and the VLC development are proud to present a minor update adding support for OS X Mountain Lion as well as improving VLC's overall stability on OS X. Additionally, this version includes updates for 18 translations and adds support for Uzbek and Marathi. For MS Windows, you can update manually if you need the translation updates.

I like VLC for its capability to play ISO images of movies with menus. But I hate how you have to navigate endless pages of options to find what you really need.

Still using MPC HC as my main player, but VLC is my secondary player (also for testing/comparing).

I've been sticking with SMPlayer for a while, though I do like what they've done with the VLC interface in the newer versions :)

That's one of the things I've never liked much about the install version, on a number of times I had to use the feature that allows resetting it to default to undo changes. None of those issues exist for me using the portable version.

Does that still have the looping bug at the end of videos where it reaches the end then replays the last 1 to 3 seconds? That's one reason I stopped using it, made it impossible to know if where I split a video was going to be seemless/gapless when merged.

Done
ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION
DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)
ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Thank you, nodles, for the warning.
The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-)
