I recently uninstalled my copy of Etrust, as the Expiry Date was incorrect. I re-installed, and the expiry date is fine now, however there is a minor problem.

As most of you know, I have to manually update Etrust, and so when I installed it it said it was out of date. I manually updated it (correctly), but there is still a red cross on it in the taskbar, saying it is out of date. However, when I open up Etrust, and go to Help, my Virus Signature Update is the latest one?

I think this maybe just because i haven't updated it through their program, like Ewido, if you update manually first time it says you have never updated it, but says you have the latest siganatures below it...?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you try rebooting?

The eTrust EZ Antivirus updater seemed to me as if it downloaded other program components when I installed version 7. I don't think it only downloaded the virus signature files!
Complexity of incoherent design.

I have re-boote, yes. I'm not to bothered, I have the signatures installed (from my understanding the latest set contains all of them; http://crm.my-etrust.com/CIDocument.asp?KD...DC29227F9F7B144 - login as guest).

Here's a screenshot to help you understand:

I'm not overly bothered. I think its something to do with when you install it, it automaticaly tries to update it, it couldn't, so thats why the sign is their (I think).
