I know this is such a silly question but when I tried to defag my had drive there's a warning saying that it could cause viruses by itself I tried google but it link me to a advertisement please help before I think it could cause virus

What defrag program are you using that would suggest such an absurd thing? We aren't in the day of Win9x anymore where you'd have to disable your antivirus scanner real-time protection in order for defrag to complete.
Complexity of incoherent design.
