Hope that I have not missed this somewhere, but is there a way to put a URL on the toolbar so it can be accessed quickly? I want to add access to gmail on one of the toolbars (not the bookmark bar on the side, but on top) as an icon (like the gmail button in the google toolbar) and don't want to install the google toolbar. Can this be done easily and if so how?

Thanks,
Normandie

Try WebmailCompose it redirects the existing firefox email links to your gmail(and various others)inbox or compose page. I think this is what you are looking for sorry if its not.

Some screen shots it also as i said redirects the existing email links in the "email" button. So when i click check mail(see screen shot) it launches gmail.

englishman,

Thanks, may give this a try, was really looking just to put a gmail icon in the menubar, but may try this out. Thanks so much for taking your time and this suggestion.

Have a good day,

I finally figured it out. I put it in the "personal bar" (translated from French) and then moved the personal bar up top and there it is!! Love it and it works, can put any bookmark up there and works great.

Thanks to all,
Normandie
