Admin MrG Posted May 24, 2011 Admin Share Posted May 24, 2011 Hi, I thought I'd make this announcement on the forum first. In a few days we'll be releasing our first product for a non-Windows platform. CCleaner for Mac OSX! It'll start in beta, but we aim to be in release mode quickly and add support for many other OS features as the product matures. For those of you who don't have a Mac, don't worry we've got more Windows titles in the works! You can monitor the release at: http://www.piriform.com/mac MrG Piriform.com - [CCleaner - Defraggler - Recuva - Speccy]
Moderators Nergal Posted May 24, 2011 Moderators Share Posted May 24, 2011 Awesome, I've already pointed my MAC friends to the article (I saw the announcement in the twitter feed) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Pete88
Good news, but more info need. What in minimum OSX version? Which CPUs are supported? If CCleaner for Mac is for Intel CPUs only, a large number of home Mac users will be unable to use it. Thanks.
