Mally
Hi there! I installed Speccy on my Windows XP pro sp3 32-bit system... well, when I launch Speccy I get this message: "Unknown system error: 0x80041001" and this happens for all the entries except for "Operating System", which is right. What's that?? My PC: Pentium core2 duo 3 GHz - 3 GB RAM, ASUS P5N-E motherboard. Thanks for your help!... Mally
Mally
Speccy last version (1.07) produces this message: "Unknow system error 0x80041001" now for ALL its entries (see November, 19 issue). Is there somebody who could kindly give me an explanation? Thank you!
Guest MrRon
This could be an issue with WMI. Try this link. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=d7ba3cd6-18d1-4d05-b11e-4c64192ae97d&displaylang=en
Mally
Thank you MrRon... I started WMIDiag and found many errors and anomalies in system32\wbem folder, concerning dll system files. The problem is that I should re-install Windows XP to solve these problems! Is this worth a risk? I found that Microsoft System Information isn't working either: surely Speccy gathers infos from the same resources, doesn't it? Well, thanks indeed for your help!
