Why did you (?) remove the "exit" button from the new version? I have only just FOUND this wonderfull programme and thouight the button on the old version was quite usefull and as part of a 'WINDOWS' TYPE PROGRAME should be there.

See the red X in the upper right? Use that, it's what it's there for. The exit button just below it was repetitive.

i agree with you.. i like the CCleaner with exit button.. it's much easier to navigate and close the program instead. :blink:

Several weeks (months?) ago, some one complained about the exit button and thought it was redundant. They wanted it removed.

Go figure!

P.S. I like CCleaner performance and will take it any which way.

That was me who suggested it be removed since it was right there beside the X.

Do away with the exit altogether and replace with a tab that says "close" instead!! :D

you know what's funny, i just noticed now, that there's no exit button after having the new version for just over a week :D that's hilarious...hahaha...who cares, just use the X.
