When ever i clean my system my folder views always screw up and reset and they don't remember what i set them at

does anyone know where the file located that holds this information is so i can make it so it can't be deleted?

under "Windows" tab, uncheck the checkbox option for "Windows Size/Location Cache" (it is under the "Advance" category)...
if you are using the winapp2, uncheck the checkbox option for "More Windows Explorer" under the "Applications" tab (it is under "Windows" category)...
