Run my first clean with the program. Didn't seem to have any problems yet. Just wanted to know where the backup are saved if I need to restore them. New at this.

Thanks

Under the large Cleaner on the left nothing is backed up, hence it's all junk.

Under the large Issues on the left it offers you the choice to make a backup, it's up to you to select a location to store the backups. Possible a good place to store the undo files for the registry cleaning could be:
C:\Undo CCleaner Registry Cleaning
or
C:\Program Files\CCleaner\Undo

Now if you ever wish to undo what was removed from the registry you just double click the undo .reg file.

I've personally never had to use a backup of what CCleaner has cleaned out of the registry!
Complexity of incoherent design.
