I am a newbie here on this site and would just like to extend my thanks to those who created this awesome little package called CCleaner! I absoutely love it to bits and so does my Toshiba laptop. Although I only have the free version (I cannot afford to get the paid version yet) I am very impressed with everything it does for me and I can say that it works well with my anti virus system AVG and it is a marriage made in heaven for these two little programmes. I have no need for anything else as it attacks all the nasties that come into my system in one clean sweep. Thank you and best regards to everyone.

It doesn't cost money, unless you are refering to AVG?

I would recommend getting some anti-spyware software though, preferably Microsoft Anti-Spyware which is completely free.
