Does anyone know why there are leftover files that can't be defragged even though they show they are fragmented?

Leftovers??

Some files and folders cannot be defragged because they're protected by the Operating System such as, c:\pagefile.sys and "C:\System Volume Information"

You can use PageDefrag to defragment your pagefile.
