Hi. I've recieved something through AIM and I cannot get rid of it. I've tried everything said in the previous posts about how to get rid of it. I've visited the sites and downloaded all the programs that are on here and done them in safe mode. I believe it's a "pokapoka" file. I also get the virus warning for C:\Windows\ebt\xud_69.dll. I've tried deleting it and when I think I've gotten it deleted it brings it back up again. It is mostly bringing up adware sites while I'm doing work and when my computer starts up. Does anyone have any suggestions of something that I might have not tried?? Here's my Hijackthis log.

Next update and scan with ewido in safe mode. Then reboot and paste a new log.

Make sure spyware docotor is up to date and scan with it and remove everything it finds as well.

Tssk, slacker. They have lots of spyware too.

Trend Micro returns false positives, I don't trust it at all because of that.

First, download this Anti-Malware Package, it contains everything you need to effectively clean your computer.

Next, refer to this PC Maintenance website, as it will tell you the settings you need and everything to effectively clean your computer. Then you can post your HijackThis log here.

I'll own up to the slacker part, but what do you mean trend micro has false positives? I scanned with it a couple times and all it finds are cookies. What did it find on your pc?

Okay. So I know that "pokapoka.exe" is gone off the list but I ran Hijackthis in safe mode previously and then I ran it again when I did all these programs and it came back. So is it in some other folder that I can't see. I also noticed that my browser(Firefox) started coming up at Windows startup now with all those pesky sites. I don't know if that is any help. Okay. Remove these and then boot to safe mode and scan with spybot and spyware doctor. I would make sure they are up to date before starting.
