Hi All

Will Speccy be/is Speccy free for commercial use? I know it's still in beta but as you guys have a portable version out I'd love to be able to use this 'in the field', especially when trying to find drivers etc.

Thanks,
Craig.

Hi Craig, and welcome to Piriform.

All Piriform's software is free for personal and commercial use, so no problems.
:)

There isn't a portable version. Speccy will run from a flash pen it isn't that big. Dennis's link to the portable is exactly the same size. ;)

Well, I don't want to get into a discussion about how big the file is, or whether you look upon them as the same thing, but the exe installer installs Speccy into the Program Files folder and into the registry. It also includes an "uninstaller" in the folder.

The ZIP version is a standalone exe file. In other words a "portable" version whichever way you look at it.
