First off Hi, and I'm very pleased with how CCleaner and how it keeps my PC at top shape...
Moving on.

I need help trying to find the place on my computer where one can adjust the amount of information coming in by Cable to speed downloads up. I read it in a magazine {PC Utilities} and can't remember the term for it. I think it's PMB but that's wrong I know. The artical said something about PING what ever that is.
If anyone has any Idea about what the hell I'm talking about, please post info.
If not I'll have to end up paying the damn $12.99 for the MAg.

Try the TCP Optimizer tool at the top of this page: http://www.speedguid...t/downloads.php

It probably has the setting(s) you're talking about listed.

Trying to adjust my Broadband... for optimum speed.
They're asking me for my connection speed?
Is the connection speed different than download speed or is it actually the same thing?

same thing.

the only way to speed up your connection speed is to stop every program that connects to the internet. a lot of programs claim that they speed up your connection speed when all they do is nothing.
