Does CCleaner do the same job as Microsoft Windows Clean Up - I need to remove a piece of software and the software supplier is telling me to download microsofts pakage.

The software is Corel Videostudio 12 ( I am having problems with the program dropping out) - I would prefer to use CCleaner as I have used this before. Corel are telling me to use the Microsoft cleaner

Are they giving you instructions such as these in the first post here?

It may be a good idea initially to follow the software manufacturers instruction and see if it works.
If not we can try plan B
