i shamefully admit mine was killed sunday. But i did buy it 2nd hand off a friend who got it chipped. Bit annoying since i did not own any pirated games.

Blah, should've got a PS3 since the price drop happened back in September and you don't have to pay anything to use the PS3 online.

I know a few people in the same boat. We all know the risks etc. Lessons learnt.

If you bought the modded XBOX without any knowledge of it having been modded I think you should ask for a refund.

As far as I'm aware it's still legal here in the UK to make a back up copy of a CD, DVD or Console Game Disk, and you would need a chipped machine to use the game copy, and keep the original in pristine condition.

Legitimate users are being penalised along with the pirates.

Lets hope the backlash is a huge drop off in XBox sales.

I think it's just m$ way of asking for more ££££. Since they are not seperating from users who pirate to users who buy unofficial games

Honestly, you shouldn't expect to be able to play a pirated game online anyway.
