I have 2006 Hot Uninstallers using 500 Mb, which I would like to remove, but I don't know the consequences. Is there any help for the advanced cleaning features?
P.S. the CCleaner web tag has been hyjacked by PCCleaner. I downloaded the wrong software initially.

Hotfix Uninstallers will delete windows update installation files.
(you can delete them if you don't plan to uninstall windows updates)

More on the advanced section here.

MetalJ PCCleaner dot com and tucows both carry this program, that said, I didn't look to see if any infringment was occuring

However I also found this

Not sure if they are related

http://www.2-spyware...-pccleaner.html

also in 2004-2005 the site was replaced by a fbi cyber squad warning

was rebought from godaddy in (august) 2007 and started distribution some time after aug 2008
ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION
DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)
ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
