Hello,
I keep unchecking the Run (in Start Menu) box and the next time I look, I see it's back CHECKED again. The othwer boxes uncheck works. Why doesn't this one?
Maybe because I'm now booted up in Vista that doesn't have a Run line.
TIA,
Moose

Sounds more like you are not running the Program as admin, thus any changes you make to the registry/ini of ccleaner is not being saved
ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION
DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)
ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

...or you need to update to CCleaner v2.25 if you haven't done so yet. 2.25 fixes an issue with 'Tools->Startup'
Complexity of incoherent design.
