I figured I would start a thread to notify us when Fanboy updates his AdBlock list for Opera, Firefox, and Chrome (similar to the hosts file update threads in Windows Security). B)

It was most recently updated today, November 8, 2009 (still the 7th here in the US, but the 8th where Fanboy lives in New Zealand).

I know how to add Fanboy's list to Opera and Firefox but how do you use it with Chrome?

Maybe i'd disable it for piriform sites, but when on google searching for like "psychological development of small childrens brains" i DONT need to see "eBay: Small childrens brains, get it cheap on eBay!" ;-)

and passerby saying "Use some drain cleaner and you will feel different tomorrow"

If Piriform really wanted me to view their ads, I might consider it. This would be the ONLY site though. I use both the MVPS and hpHosts Windows hosts files, and Fanboy's AdBlock list for Opera, and see almost no ads at all anywhere on the net...period. There's ads everywhere you turn in the world...on TV, the radio, on my digital cable on-screen guide, on billboards on the freeway, even on my church's bulletin. If I can do something to block ads on the internet, I'm going to do it.

I'm a little confused. The main page still says the last update was on 02-28-10. Where does it say the the Opera list was updated on 03-01-10?
