Could someone please advise whether CCleaner is free for commercial use i.e. can I use it on multiple machines in an office environment ?

I can't find any license details on any Piriform sites regarding it other than the copyright notice at the bottom of each page.

It's freeware, and doesn't have anything explicitly written that it can't be used commercially.

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION
Just because something comes up on the REGCleaner section DOES NOT mean that you SHOULD remove it.
Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)
IF USING THE REGISTRY CLEANER ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T, AND DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
