Can I simply install a newer version of CC over an already existing older version of CC?
Or is an uninstall of the older version required? How can I keep the settings of the older version? Thomas |

1. Yes, just install over the old version.
2. Before installing the new version, In the ccleaner options, check the option to save to ini file. -------------------- fireryone

In my experience the settings are carried over to the new version when you do an install on top of the old, without the ini file. They're all in the reg somewhere, so I believe.
