...of these one post spammers. Is there a common trend between them, outside of them posting a website to a known spam site? I have never seen the website posted, because of the vigilance of our moderators, but is there a common IP address to ban these guys, or is it just random spammers from all over?

Mostly random spammers CT.

Luckily with some members reporting them via the ''report'' button and keeping our eyes open, we try to keep the forum as free as we can from them.

It's difficult getting rid of them as they just keep bouncing back with new usernames.

Dynamic IP addresses doesn't help either, but I kinda enjoy giving them the bullet, and as hazel says, you guys are usually on top of them yourselves with the "Report" button.

Piriform makes well known software used by many people, so popularity itself will attract spammers however we zap them as soon as possible.

It's always sort of fun to zap one before anyone even reports it.

Luckily this forum has a horde of moderators, if it didn't this place wouldn't be so spam free!
Complexity of incoherent design.

They're so easy to spot for me. I just gotta remember that if the same bot spams 5 times in one session I only have to 'report' just one of their posts.
