Noticed that too. Was happy - but none of my add-ons worked.

type about:config in the address bar.

confirm il be careful

Right-Click anywhere on the list, Select New, then click on Boolean.

Set the Name to extensions.checkCompatibility

Set the Value to false.

Restart Firefox. Your incompatible add-ons should now start working.

edit: didnt notice Aethec post

first impressions,

cant see a major boost in speed.

does not display my 6 homepages on startup. will only display 2 when they are clearly added.

does not like my modified userChrome.css

sticking to 3.5 here

I tried the fixes when Firefox was going through the early 3 beta stages, and although add-ons worked, I was getting some instability issues, so I'll just wait for the final versions I think.
