For several weeks, I have been unable to install any downloaded updates. I always get this error message:
"C:\Documents and Settings\Arlene\My Documents\My music\iTunes\iTunes Music\ccsetup225(5).exe is not a valid application" I have no idea what to do about this or what iTunes has to do with it. Can someone help me? I have Windows XP Pro on my 2002 Dell. |

Seems like Windows is trying to open the file with iTunes.
Try this (with Internet Explorer): Go to http://www.ccleaner.com/download and click on "Alternative Download". Wait for the file download window to appear and click "Save". Save it to your desktop, and when done, execute it from there. I hope it works. -------------------- |

You might try also running the file association fix here for .exe files if it is happening with any .exe file you download Read the instructions as the .exe file fixes may have an extra step to do in them http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm |
