oh shoot! my question and post was just erased!!!! Am so frustrated ... have to write this over and it is pretty boring. Sorry.

Did what I thought was a safe clean ... erased all of my Windows Live Mail account information .. for not only my main
MSN subscribed to account (but I prefer Windows Live Mail) but also my Hotmail Plus and Yahoo Plus and gmail. Oh well obviously I am doing something pretty stupid. Need help on what to avoid on the clean. But really really need to free up
some space on my computer as well.

So in researching this site to try and do it myself without posting my stupid question, I do a search on "Windows Live Mail" and I come up with some posts and topics and I click them to track them into my Control Panel .. and do it a number of times .. and restart my computer and ... enough ... they do not appear in the left hand margin of saved topics or saved forums. I am only searching the Ccleaner forum. Well I DO need help why I can not save these reference posts ...

Much appreciated if there is a link into Ccleaner configuration .. and something also about the board control panel.

Thanks

Hi brianeclus, and welcome to Piriform.

Your query was missed originally as it was an afterthought in one of your posts in a different topic. Far better to start your own if it isn't directly related to the topic you were in. Although there was a reply to this question in another thread:

http://forum.pirifor...o...st&p=151826

But maybe the problem is you are deleting cookies which contain your log-in details.

Log in to all your relevant sites, close down your browser and launch CCleaner. Go to "Options\Cookies" and look in the "Cookies to Delete" window for cookies relating to those sites, such as "login.live.com" for Live Mail, "login.yahoo.com" etc. etc..

Then move those cookies across to the "Cookies to Keep" window. If you're not sure, as you will get more than one yahoo cookie for example, move all the yahoo cookies across and then eliminate them until you find the right one, or do as I do and just leave them there. No big deal keeping an extra cookie or two.

Hope that helps.
