I have been using CCleaner for a while, and AVG as my antivirus solution.

Previously all versions of CCleaner I have used have automatically recognised AVG 7 or 8. However, even the latest CCleaner (2.24.1010) does not recognise AVG 9.0.

I have read all the stuff about winapp2.ini files but am wondering if the next update of CCleaner will include embedded support for AVG 9.0.

Although I have created a winapp2.ini file with an entry for AVG 9.0 which works, I do not feel qualified to decide what folders to include, as it may not simply be a case of copying the AVG 8 details and just changing the sub-folder from AVG8 to AVG9.

Yeah, I strongly agree with this one. I was actually planning to post about the same issue. I am also using AVG 9.0 and I really want the next version of CCleaner to support cleaning its log lists. AVG 9 has only been there for some time so plenty of time to do adjustments to support that as well.
I love computer maintenance tasks.
Some of my favorite programs:
Wordpad -basic word processing
Notepad - temporary clipboard and basic scripting module
Windows Media Player 12- video, music and online radio player
Windows Media Center - live TV, local FM radio
CCleaner- handy computer maintenance tool

If something fails to work after using the registry cleaner, use SYSTEM RESTORE.
