I use the latest version of AVG. I just downloaded Ccleaner this month, Oct.2009
When I run Ccleaner, it regularly is reporting AVG listings marked 'AVG Update.'
My questions are:
Is Ccleaner removing my AVG's updates?
should I configure CCleaner to skip anything relating to AVG ?.......but how would I?

Plus: I have a screen print of Ccleaner's findings, ready to post here, if asked for.

FYI, I grade my computer skills to be just slightly, above novice.

All help appreciated! :)

Thanks

nope. :) just log files from scans, detections, etc.

If you wish to disable AVG log file cleaning just untick it or look at this other topic...
You can also find useful information at docs.piriform.com.

Welcome to the forum, btw.

Metalj,
Thanks for the great tips and links!!! Big thumbs up!!
These have helped greatly!

Might I ask you to explain.... and if I would want to place a check mark beside any of these below:

what is or are: Tray notifications cache?
What is meant by "window size / location cache?
What are "hotfix uninstallers?
What is old prefetch data?
What is menu order cache?
