newest version seems to hang on empty of recycle bin unless it is empty... freezes even if there is a very tiny file in the bin. no problem if the bin is already empty
any one else have this happen and is there a fix

Let's hope another Win7 user will post here and let us know if it happens to them also.

The front page of the docs. site for CCleaner under FAQ.

Does CCleaner support Windows 7?
The latest version of CCleaner has
preliminary Windows 7 support. We'll
continue improving support as the new
version of Windows keeps developing.

Maybe this topic should be moved to CCleaner bug reporting.

First steps i reckon isd to revert to a older version and see if the problem persists.

If so then there could be a currupted file lerking in the recycle bin. If this is the case we then can look at ways in restoring the recycle bin.
No fate but what we make
