Sorry if this topic has been covered before. I did a search in CCleaner and Recuva forums, but did not see this specific question. I ran a secure cleaning (Guttman) in CCleaner, and then ran a search in Recuva. I found many easily recoverable files in areas that I specifically thought should have been cleaned. I then ran a secure delete with Recuva for these files. The file content appears to have been deleted, but the file names still exist. How can I delete the file names or are they in the MFT and not touchable?
